The Lif of this World

The lif of this world
    Is ruled with wind,
weepinge, drede,
    And steryinge:
With wind we blowen,
    With wind we lassen,

With weepinge we comen,
    With weepinge we passen;
With drede we dwellen,
    With drede we wenden.
