Maxwell Locke & Ritter

"We have used Lone Star Internet since 2008 and our experience with them has been wonderful. We've sent them projects ranging from simple website page updates to complete website redesign, intranet creation, firm wiki creation, etc. and they always tackle each project strategically and professionally. Not only are their rates highly competitive, Ken and his team are an absolute dream to work with. No matter the size of your company or the project, I would highly recommend Lone Star Internet to do the job!"

MLRPC's web site design had grown stale and they needed a new look. We designed a site that:

  • Uses simple clear tab style navigation.
  • Uses comfortable and attractive drop down navigation.
  • Utilizes color coding hints to indicate website section.
  • Dynamic interfaces for:
    • Company Directory
    • News
    • News Archive
  • Employs attractive evocative header images for each section of the site.

eEmployers Solutions

"As eESI has grown through the years, Lone Star Internet has been there for our web design, hosting, and value added web based programs. From the beginning with a simple informational web page, to client login interaction, and the development of our proprietary document manager, Lone Star Internet has been a key part of our growth in the information age. The entire staff's attention to detail, project turn around times, and customer service is very much appreciated. We look forward to our continued partnership with Lone Star Internet to meet our company growth needs."

eESI needed a web site that reflected the quality of their organization and described their services in an easy to understand method. The new site design utilized a number of stock images evoking the human resources aspect of the business. Images were also utilized to clarify navigation aiding in the site's usability.

A dynamic section of the site was developed to manage client documents and provide additional client services.

Camp Doublecreek

Camp Doublecreek's site was getting stale. They needed a new look that focused on the kids and the fun activities at the camp.

With a quick loading flash intro, they immediately present the visitor with pictures of the campers enjoying the facilities.

Throughout the site there are additional camper pictures presented in a way that is fun, integrated into the site design, and prominent.

The result is a site that reflects the experience of attending the first class summer camp provided by Camp Doublecreek while focusing on their favorite people (the campers).

JB Goodwin - Austin Area Realtors

"Lone Star Internet has been handling all our internet sites and design work for over ten years. They are the BEST. Very responsive and very attentive to detail. They do TOP quality work at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them."

A realtor's site needs to be all about access to information. This requires a design that is up to the task.

Access to listings, area information, personnel, and services needs to be clean and simple. The web design graphic artist needs to use a light hand so that the information and navigation is the primary focus.

Maxwell Locke & Ritter Wealth Management

"Thanks again for all of your work on the WM website - it's beautiful and I love it!!"

Maxwell Locke & Ritter LLP

The wealth management site for Maxwell Locks & Ritter needed a revamp. After reviewing the site content a navigation plan utilizing an initial two–way decision, then a combination of tabs and side menus was developed to make information access easy.

A soothing color scheme evoking the color of money was developed to accentuate rather than distract from the message.

Channel 2 Web

Channel 2 Web was the application sales tool we developed for a television station internet presence management software for KHOU-TV Houston. Since the target market was television station managers, the web tool was developed in Flash to showcase our graphic animation talents as well as the application itself.

The application:

  • Provided navigation and content management
  • Real time weather reports and weather maps generated from the International Weather satellite broadcast
  • Banner advertising management on a page by page basis
  • Template–based site construction
  • Database to static site auto publishing to optimize server performance

Texas Outside

The Guide To Texas Outside is a labor of love for the Texas outdoors by LSI. Site development revolved around providing a gateway to information on a wide variety of outdoor activities.

With an enormous amount of content, navigation was paramount. Much of the site utilizes map navigation which provides an aid when planning any excursion.

Administrative interfaces were developed allowing for reviews and rankings of campgrounds and golf courses. Dynamic maps are generated from campground, golf course, and other amenities' address information. LSI utilized Ruby and Rails to manage the database of outdoor destinations, descriptions, photos, and map coordinates and to provide dynamic site content for a wealth of information.

The result is a high traffic site that is linked to as a resource by many sites providing outdoor services and information.

Austin Tree Specialists

"I tried developing a web site with godaddy.com and found them very hard to deal with or get anything done. It took more than 4 months to put up what turned out to be a sorry excuse for a web site. No one would return phone calls and their site was very confusing to navigate. They set up my web site all wrong and then refused to fix it without additional fees. Even then, parts of the site didn't work and the site was left invisible to search engines.

Finding Ken Biggs and Lone Star Internet was great. I just wish I had gone there first. Ken and Kim re-worked my site quickly and got it up and running as it should be. I would strongly recommend Ken and Lone Star Internet to anyone."

Austin Tree Specialists had a site developed by GoDaddy that was unattractive, poorly organized, none of the forms worked, and the site was invisible to search engines. In addition they were unable to get GoDaddy to make simple spelling and grammar corrections to the web content.

LSI developed a site that is attractive, easy to navigate, well–organized, the forms all work, and it is well–indexed by the search engines. With service next to none, LSI has corrected all the typos and we now have a happy client.
